Declaring Glory! comes from a hymn of praise to God recorded in Psalm 96:1-3, which says:
Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!
Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
What a humbling thought…Fallen and sinful as we are, our Lord has commissioned us with the awesome privilege and weighty responsibility of “Declar[ing] his glory among the nations”! With that in mind, this site is dedicated to doing just that through the publication of original songs, hymns, and spiritual songs written specifically for congregational worship in the church.
Eric is my pastor. He has been my dear friend and mentor since we first ministered together at Grace Bible Church in Moore, SC back in 2001. In 2011, we had the privilege of serving the Lord together once again at Calvary Bible Church in Columbus, OH (the church he currently serves as Senior Pastor).
Dave and I go way back. He was my choir and band director at Harvest Christian Academy on Guam, and we have been good friends ever since. He is a gifted pianist and composer. He currently serves as the Music Director at Community Baptist Church in Clayton, NC.
